The rise of joinery

Imprimir

Brazil is one of the largest furniture producers in the world and the largest in Latin America. The sector is responsible for generating more than 255,000 direct jobs in more than 18,000 companies, ranking the country as the 28th largest exporter of furniture in the world. Rio Grande do Sul, the state where Projepack is located, is the second largest furniture producer in the country, with approximately 2,400 industries and 37,400 direct jobs, and is also the second largest furniture exporter in Brazil.

The sector gained even more evidence during the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in a large-scale migration to the home office, generating a great demand for adaptations to accommodate the new work scenario. In the digital age, workers in branches such as woodworking and carpentry have expanded their horizons and had the opportunity to stand out in the market.

However, the rise of the market and the globalization of commerce, which brought with it a significant increase in the purchasing power of the final consumer, created an atypical scenario. Now, the sector faces new challenges, which include storage difficulties and, mainly, logistical problems. With greater market reach driven by technology, the possibilities multiply, but not all companies are ready to take advantage of them.

Projepack is inserted in one of the great furniture centers of the state, being directly part of this scenario in constant adaptation and innovation. Therefore, using its experience and proximity to the market, it dedicates technical knowledge and technology to the development of productive and efficient solutions.

With equipment such as the Modular, Stretch Eco or automatic series, the Compact and Standard series, for example, Projepack is able to deliver solutions that promote greater quality and safety in the final packaging of the product, assembled or disassembled, with or without a box. By wrapping with heat shrinkable or stretch film, it helps in the storage of the final product, as it protects it from dust and moisture, in addition to taking up much less space, as the package molds itself according to the surface. This feature is extremely important during the logistical process, allowing space optimization and avoiding sudden movements that could be harmful to the packaged material.

Projepack commits itself daily to its role in this sector that is so relevant to the Brazilian economy, making available to its customers the best technology on the market, applied to quality and efficient equipment. Accompanying and supporting the growth of the furniture sector and all its ramifications is a responsibility that Projepack assumes with great honor and dedication, being an essential part of the development of the country's future.
